An essential part of an author’s book package is the description. Encapsulating the contents of a full-length novel into a couple of paragraphs, however, is exceedingly challenging and not exactly on the wish list of an author who has already spent a surplus of time completing a novel. It takes a special talent to create dynamic book descriptions and blurbs that draw in potential readers.
The Blurb Contest is hoping to discover just such a talent by hosting its latest contest, a global search for the ideal book description or blurb for the novel Fruition by James Borto. We invite entries from all over the globe. However, all entries must be submitted in English. There is no entry fee. Entries must be the property of the submitter/applicant and have all author rights. Multiple contestants are permitted; however, they will only receive one prize to be shared. Multiple entries from any one particular author, or team of authors, are prohibited. The judges will designate a separate column for honorable mentions.

Winners will be featured on our website, which will include their bios. Information to be filled out includes an entry form, an email address. Blurb submissions will be accepted as attachments.
